BCBSM Foundation Student Award Program

About this program

The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Foundation offers Student Award grants of up to $3,000 to support medical and doctoral students conducting research, pilot, demonstration, or evaluation projects that improve health or healthcare in Michigan. Eligible applicants must be doctoral students in good academic standing, enrolled at an accredited Michigan university, and be U.S. residents, resident aliens, or student visa holders. Projects must be conducted in Michigan, involve human subjects where applicable, and demonstrate direct potential to improve health outcomes, healthcare quality, or access; drug trials, non-human research, completed projects, and repeat applicants are excluded. Applications are due annually by November 30 and require a proposal, advisor support letter, budget, CV, and relevant approvals.
