Berkshire Environmental Endowment Fund, administered by Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation with support from the Massachusetts Environmental Trust and local donors, provides annual grants to support projects that improve environmental quality in Berkshire County. Funding targets water-quality and related land‑use projects within the Housatonic and Hoosic river watersheds and surrounding natural resources; award amounts vary and applications are submitted via the foundation’s online portal. Eligible applicants are Berkshire County nonprofits, public agencies, schools, and civic/community entities; unincorporated community groups may apply through a fiscal sponsor, and applicants must provide a 1:1 cash or in‑kind match.
