Best Early Career Paper Award (ASTDA / Sexually Transmitted Diseases)

About this program

The American Sexually Transmitted Diseases Association (ASTDA), in partnership with the journal Sexually Transmitted Diseases, offers an annual Best Early Career Paper Award to recognize outstanding STD-related research authored by early career investigators whose manuscripts are accepted in the journal. All eligible manuscripts accepted for publication in Sexually Transmitted Diseases are automatically considered and the award is presented annually at the ASTDA Awards Ceremony. Eligibility requires the lead (first) author to self-identify as an early career author (students, postdoctoral or clinical fellows, or junior faculty within two years of completing training) at submission/registration, and selection is by nomination from Associate Editors and the Editor-in-Chief followed by review and ranking by the journal’s Editorial Board.
