About this program
The Oregon Community Foundation’s Better Nursing Home Care Fund supports projects that improve the quality of care and quality of life for nursing home residents in Oregon. Priority is given to innovative, evidence-based, collaborative, or replicable efforts addressing resident outcomes, staff recruitment and retention, dementia care, and sustainable improvements over a three-year grant period.
Applicants must be Oregon-based nonprofits with tax-exempt status or public agencies. Projects must benefit nursing home residents exclusively and generally may not support assisted living, equipment, capital projects, or replacement funding; applications are accepted October 15–December 1, 2026.
