Bisexual Research Award

About this program

Division 44 offers the $1,000 Bisexual Research Award to support a graduate student’s research on the psychology of bisexuality and advance LGBTQ+ issues in psychology. Applications are due March 31, 2027, and must include a cover sheet, CV, anonymous APA-style project description of no more than six pages, and a faculty supervisor’s letter. Applicants must be enrolled full time in a psychology or therapy/counseling graduate program; students in allied disciplines are not eligible. Award disbursement requires institutional IRB approval, and recipients must submit a 1,500-word project abstract and acknowledge the American Institute of Bisexuality’s Bisexual Foundation in resulting publications and presentations.
