About this program
The Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) offers Career Development Awards to support travel to the BMES Annual Meeting as part of its effort to build a diverse, technically and globally competent biomedical engineering workforce. Awards provide travel funding for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and early career professionals to attend and participate in the Annual Meeting. Eligible applicants are individuals from populations underrepresented in biomedical engineering and/or those engaged in research or training focused on health disparities and minority health. Applicants must submit the BMES application and meet the specified application requirements and deadlines as outlined by BMES.
