Board Grants (Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation)

About this program

The Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation supports educational projects that improve health by advancing the education and training of future health professionals through competitive Board Grants and rolling President’s Grants. Board Grants are awarded via Requests for Applications (typically issued each January and funded in summer/fall), are generally 1–3 years in duration with application components, budgets, and eligibility set by each active RFA, and unsolicited Board Grant proposals are not accepted. President’s Grants are reviewed on a rolling basis, fund projects for one year or less (maximum award $25,000, including indirect costs capped at 10%), require completion of the Foundation’s application, and grantees must adhere to the Foundation’s narrative and financial reporting guidelines.
