Boston Scientific’s Global Investigator‑Sponsored Research (ISR) program offers funding and support to qualified investigators worldwide for studies that advance medical and scientific knowledge and align with Boston Scientific’s areas of research interest. Awards are made by a cross‑functional ISR Committee based on scientific robustness, safety, ethical and regulatory compliance, alignment with company interests and available funding; investigators retain full responsibility as study sponsor for design, conduct, analysis, data dissemination and obtaining any required regulatory approvals. Applicants must register on the Boston Scientific Global ISR System and may submit a brief concept or a full proposal (full proposals require a line‑item budget, PI CV and a complete protocol including objectives, analysis plan and safety/adverse event procedures); budget requests are subject to fair market value assessment and supported studies are formalized by a written agreement and tracked through the ISR portal.
