Brady Education Foundation Research Project and Existing Program Evaluation Grants

About this program

Brady Education Foundation offers Research Project (RP) and Existing Program Evaluation (EPE) grants to support strength‑based developmental and educational research or program evaluations that can inform practice, philanthropy, and public policy. Projects may be funded up to three years (new‑data studies up to $125,000 per year); secondary‑data‑only projects are expected to finish in 1–1.5 years with total budgets under $100,000. Eligible principal investigators are researchers at U.S. universities/colleges or large non‑profit research organizations and grants are awarded only to nonprofit institutions; projects must be conducted in the United States and co‑PI structures and applicants at all career stages are permitted. All proposals begin with a single‑PDF LOI (including aims, methods, timeline, budget estimate, and PI/institution details); invited applicants submit full Foundation forms and supporting materials, and proposals are reviewed for alignment with the strength‑based mission, potential impact, rigorous/feasible methodology, generalizability, collaborative partnerships, and appropriate budgeting (indirect costs 0% for total budgets ≤$50,000; capped at 10% of direct costs for projects over $50,000).
