Braslau Family Travel Grant

About this program

Offered by the Braslau Family and administered jointly by the American Physical Society’s Forum on Diversity and Inclusion (FDI), CSWP, and COM, the Braslau Family Travel Grant provides meeting registration waivers and up to $1,750 in travel reimbursement to support U.S.-based and international students and early-career physicists attending the APS Global Physics Summit. Reimbursements are disbursed after the meeting upon submission of required documentation. Applicants must be degree-seeking students or early-career physicists presenting research at the Summit and submit presentation details, prior presentation confirmation, anticipated expenses, a description of their contribution (≤2,000 characters), a career-timing statement (≤250 words), confirmation of other funding, and an advisor statement for students (≤500 words). Priority is given to first-time presenters and those without alternate funding; underrepresented minorities and women are especially encouraged to apply.
