Breast Cancer Journey Assistance Fund

About this program

The Aesthetic Foundation’s Breast Cancer Journey Assistance Fund (est. 2023) awards small grants of $250–$500 to help breast cancer patients cover non-surgical expenses such as deductibles, co-pays, medications, medical equipment, respite and caregiver support, wigs, and transportation. Applicants must be board-certified plastic surgeons, other physicians, nurse navigators, or social workers in the U.S. or Canada applying on behalf of patients who live in the U.S. or Canada and have a breast cancer diagnosis; funds are available once every 12 months per patient. Applications require a completed form with applicant and patient information; patients may need to sign a participation agreement and medical release and could be asked to provide their breast cancer journey story for possible use in communications.
