Bressler Prize in Vision Science

About this program

Lighthouse Guild awards the Bressler Prize in Vision Science, established in 2001 and first presented in 2003, to a person whose research has translated medical or scientific knowledge into significant advances in the treatment or rehabilitation of people with vision loss. Recipients’ efforts must have directly contributed to Lighthouse Guild’s mission of inspiring people who are visually impaired to attain their goals. Eligible nominees are individual researchers or clinician-scientists whose translational work has produced tangible advances in care or rehabilitation; inquiries can be directed to Ms. Fernanda Garcia‑Piña, Director of Research Operations, at 212‑769‑7833.
