Bridge to Success Grant for Early Career Investigators

The AASM Foundation offers the Bridge to Success Grant for Early Career Investigators to provide up to $100,000 for one year of bridge funding, enabling promising sleep and circadian scientists to revise and resubmit an unfunded mentored federal career development grant. Proposed research must address significant questions in sleep, circadian science, sleep disorders, or sleep health, with applications due January 4, 2027. Eligible applicants hold a qualifying professional or doctoral degree, have submitted a scored but unfunded multi-year career development application to the NIH, VA, or another appropriate agency, and plan to resubmit it with an identified mentor. Applicants with more than $250,000 in independent research funding, relevant conflicts of interest, or other specified institutional or geographic restrictions are ineligible.
