About this program

The Dermatology Foundation, with support from Bristol Myers Squibb, offers the Psoriasis Research Award to fund basic, clinical, or translational research advancing dermatology-related understanding and treatment of psoriasis. The award targets outstanding mid-career investigators actively pursuing “R” funding to advance their research and academic careers. Eligible applicants must hold an MD, MD/PhD, DO, or PhD; have a primary faculty appointment in an accredited dermatology department within 12 years of becoming an assistant professor; devote at least 75% of their time to research; and demonstrate relevant training and commitment to psoriasis research. For 2027, only renewals will be accepted, with applications due January 1, 2027; funded research must be conducted in the United States under an ACGME-approved dermatology program.
