About this program
The Electrochemical Society (ECS) Canada Section offers an annual Canada Section Student Award recognizing promising PhD students conducting research centered on electrochemical or solid-state science and technology. The award includes a certificate and USD $1,500, presented at the annual ECS Canada Section Meeting. Applicants must be pursuing a PhD at a Canadian university in a relevant science or engineering field and remain graduate students through at least September of the award year. Nominations must be submitted by a Canadian university faculty member between October 15 and January 15 and include recommendations, a curriculum vitae, and a one- to two-page research outline.
