Capacity Building Grants

About this program

The Michigan Health Endowment Fund’s Capacity Building Grant program provides up to $300,000 for organizational or collaborative projects that strengthen health-focused, community-based nonprofits and improve their ability to advance health-related missions across Michigan. Eligible projects may support organizations serving children or older adults or align with the Fund’s stated priority areas; awards are expected to be announced November 5, 2026. Applicants should demonstrate a clear capacity-building need and may apply individually or in collaboration with providers, service agencies, and community organizations.
