Capacity-Building Opportunity - Colorado Springs Health Foundation

About this program

The Colorado Springs Health Foundation (CSHF) provides rolling, one-year capacity-building grants to fund discreet, time-limited projects that strengthen organizational skills, strategies, systems, or structures—examples include strategic/operational/succession/fund development planning, program evaluation, one-time training, merger/restructuring support, process improvement, and one-time technology needs. Funds may not be used for ongoing operating expenses (salaries, benefits, supplies, leases, subscriptions, ongoing training) or capital projects; award amounts are unspecified and decisions are generally issued within two months of submission. Eligible applicants are organizations that benefit El Paso or Teller County and align with CSHF’s funding focus areas; organizations with a current open general operating, program, or capital grant may apply, but an organization may receive no more than two capacity-building grants per calendar year and preference is given to current or past CSHF grantees. Applicants must speak with CSHF staff via the provided Calendly link before applying and must submit applications through the GrantInterface portal; there is no deadline (rolling submissions).
