About this program

The American Heart Association (AHA) offers a $12 million funding opportunity to support innovative applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular/brain health and healthcare delivery. This grant aims to fund three investigators or teams proposing groundbreaking AI solutions to transform health outcomes. Eligibility requires the Principal Investigator (PI) to hold a doctoral degree (MD, PhD, etc.) and commit at least 10% effort to the project, with applicants being U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or holders of specific visas (E-3, G-4, H1-B, O-1, TN, DACA).
