Career Women's Network Scholarship Fund

About this program

The Community Foundation of Central Georgia, in partnership with Career Women’s Network of Macon, administers the Career Women’s Network Scholarship Fund to support non‑traditional female undergraduates pursuing their first bachelor’s degree and leadership development in the Central Georgia community. Applicants must be female, age 25 or older, enrolled or accepted to an accredited college, university, or technical institution, pursuing a first bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA; financial need and residence/attendance in Central Georgia are preferred. Application requires a short essay describing educational plans and community service commitment, contact information for one recommender who will submit a letter, and applicants may be asked to interview. Award amounts and number vary and may be renewable for prior recipients up to four years; apply via the Community Foundation portal and note the deadline is listed as February 28 (no year specified).
