CCCC Tribal College Faculty Fellowship

About this program

The Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) / NCTE is offering two $1,500 Tribal College Faculty Fellowships to support faculty at tribally controlled colleges and Native American–Serving Nontribal Institutions (NASNTIs) to attend the CCCC Convention (April 14–17, 2027, Milwaukee, WI). Eligible applicants must be current faculty at a tribally controlled college or NASNTI; presenting at the convention is not required. Applicants must submit an institutional-letterhead application letter describing who they are as a teacher, what they teach, their research interests, and what they hope to gain from attending; submit materials to cccc@ncte.org by 15 Nov 2026. Awards are chosen by a committee including American Indian Caucus members based on the quality of the letter; if the convention is online-only with no in-person component, recipients will receive complimentary registration instead of travel funds.
