CCQ Graduate Scholars Program

About this program

The Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Quantum Physics (CCQ), in partnership with CUNY, Columbia, NYU and SISSA, offers named graduate scholarships to support PhD students conducting research in areas of interest to CCQ. Scholars are appointed at and receive degrees from their host university and receive full standard university financial support, a CCQ mentor and a workspace at CCQ for up to six years; thesis research with a CCQ scientist is optional. Applicants must apply through the regular graduate admissions process at one of the partner universities and indicate interest in the fellowship according to that university’s procedures; awards are competitive and each university typically makes one new scholarship offer every two years.
