About this program

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) sponsors the Academy for Advancing Leadership’s Chairs and Academic Administrators Management Program (CAAMP), a practical three‑day professional development course that builds leadership and management competencies for academic orthodontic administrators (from program chairs to deans) through assessments, coaching, case studies, and interactive exercises. AAO will fully sponsor two nominated participants, covering the $1,975 registration fee and a travel stipend up to $1,750; program materials, meals, and networking events are included. Eligible applicants are AAO members who hold a signed full‑time administrative contract at an accredited orthodontic graduate program and are U.S./Canadian citizens, green‑card holders, or foreign nationals demonstrating active pursuit of equivalent status; nominations must submit an application form, CV, career goals letter, institutional commitment letter, a minimum of three recommendation letters, transcript verification, proof of citizenship/immigration status, and agree to participate in follow‑up career‑tracking (applications due Feb. 28).
