Chairs of Research

About this program

The Brain Aneurysm Foundation’s Chairs of Research program provides at least $25,000 to support one grant recipient’s brain aneurysm research for a minimum of one year. Funded projects may involve basic or clinical research focused on early detection, improved treatment, technological advances, aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, vasospasm, or aneurysm growth. Applications are reviewed by the Foundation’s Research Grant Committee, composed of neurosurgeons from its Medical Advisory Board. Eligible applicants are neuroscience leaders submitting research proposals relevant to brain aneurysm prevention, diagnosis, treatment, or outcomes.
