Chemists' Community Fund

About this program

The Royal Society of Chemistry's Chemists' Community Fund is a confidential benevolent fund providing financial assistance (including student hardship and graduate support grants), benefits and debt advice, confidential legal guidance, wellbeing and family support (e.g., autism, housing, care and essential equipment), employment and study support, and a 24/7 wellbeing and listening service. Eligibility covers current RSC members, their partners and dependants; past members with 10+ years continuous membership (and their families); partners and dependants of deceased members who were members at time of death; CARA Chemistry Fellows and their families; undergraduate and Master’s students on RSC‑accredited courses in the UK or Ireland; and current RSC employees (and their families). The wellbeing/listening service and bullying and harassment line also extend to anyone working in the chemical sciences in the UK and Ireland.
