The Texas Society of Health System Pharmacy Research and Education Foundation offers the $2,500 Chester A. “CAB” Bond Memorial Research Grant to support original, research-oriented projects that improve health outcomes for Texans. Funding may cover qualified direct project expenses, including specialized equipment, materials, external consultants, and necessary travel or administrative costs. Applications must be submitted by an eligible organization serving as project and fiscal manager; preference is given to applicants represented by current TSHP members, although other organizations may be considered if funds are available. Projects must have measurable outcomes and follow the scientific method, with human-subjects research requiring Institutional Review Board submission before application and approval before funds are released; applications for the 2027 cycle are due January 31, 2027.
