About this program

The CHS Foundation, through its Community Investment arm, offers matching grants to cooperatives for initiatives that foster community development and well-being, particularly in rural areas. These grants aim to support projects enhancing agriculture safety, farmer welfare, education, and community vitality.

Eligible applicants include member-cooperatives and CHS ag retail locations, with a requirement that grant requests be submitted by a cooperative on behalf of a local organization. Each eligible applicant can receive up to two grants annually.
