CINF Award for Scientific Excellence

About this program

The American Chemical Society Division of Chemical Information (CINF) offers the CINF Award for Scientific Excellence, presenting up to three $500 prizes at each ACS National Meeting to recognize outstanding graduate and postdoctoral research in chemical information and related sciences and to foster involvement in CINF. Applicants must be enrolled graduate or postdoctoral students at a certified college or university, have submitted a poster abstract electronically through the ACS MAPS system by the meeting deadline, and be available to present their poster at the CINF Welcoming Reception and the Sci‑Mix. Candidates must also submit a 2,000‑word abstract describing the work to Bob Clark by March 1 for the Spring Meeting or by mid‑June for the Fall Meeting; winners are chosen by the Division Awards Committee based on poster content, presentation, and relevance and are announced at the meeting.
