City of Annapolis Electric Leaf Blower Rebate

About this program

Chesapeake Bay Trust, in partnership with the City of Annapolis, is offering rebates to reimburse eligible applicants for the purchase of electric leaf blowers that emit no more than 65 decibels, aligning with the City’s ordinance banning gasoline-powered blowers effective 2024-12-30; reimbursements apply to purchases made on or after 2024-11-30. Eligible applicants are single-family homeowners (including townhomes), renters, nonprofits (including religious institutions), private schools, homeowners and condominium associations located within the City of Annapolis, and landscape contractors and lawncare businesses that work within the City. Residents and nonprofits may receive one rebate of up to $100 and landscape contractors/lawncare businesses one rebate of up to $1,500, with rebates not to exceed purchase cost and final proof of purchase (receipt/invoice) required; applications are accepted on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis with online and paper submission options.
