Clinical Instructor Grant

About this program

The Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) Foundation offers the Clinical Instructor Grant to honor volunteer clinical instructors in sonography, providing a $250 credit on their SDMS account, recognition at the SDMS Annual Conference, and in the Journal of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JDMS). Nominations are open from January 1 to February 28, 2025, with applications from invited nominees due by April 30, 2025. Eligibility is limited to unpaid sonography clinical instructors nominated by a student/recent graduate and program director/clinical coordinator from a CAAHEP-accredited program, who must be SDMS members at the time of application and award. Instructors can receive the grant once every five years, with only one nomination per educational program.
