About this program

The Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) offers Collaborative Research Grants of $250–$5,000 to support interdisciplinary, multi-investigator and multi-institutional projects in applied sport and performance psychology, counseling, and related fields. The $10,000 total funding pool prioritizes collaborations that integrate research and practice and support students or early-career professionals. Applicant teams must include a primarily research-focused investigator and a primarily practice-focused investigator from at least two institutions or organizations, with each applicant’s role clearly defined. Applicants generally must have maintained AASP membership for at least three years; students may apply as joint principal investigators with a qualifying AASP member, and proposals are due April 1.
