Community Engagement and Restoration Mini Grant

About this program

The Chesapeake Bay Trust offers the Community Engagement and Restoration Mini Grant Program to support initiatives that enhance communities, engage residents, and restore natural resources in Maryland and the Chesapeake Bay Watershed portion of West Virginia. Funding of up to $5,000 is available for projects such as tree plantings, rain gardens, and stream cleanups. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, community associations, and faith-based groups, with a focus on those who have received three or fewer grants from the Trust and organizations from diverse or under-engaged communities. Applications are accepted annually starting in July, with mentorship available for new applicants.
