Community-Led Green Infrastructure – Round 2 Grants

About this program

The New Orleans Community Support Foundation, a supporting organization of the Greater New Orleans Foundation, offers one-year grants of $62,500 or $150,000 for community-led green stormwater infrastructure implementation or evaluation and storytelling projects that address flooding, water quality, and resilience in underserved Greater New Orleans communities. Projects must be located in one or more of 13 eligible Southeast Louisiana parishes, with the grant period beginning in March 2027. Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofits or fiscally sponsored projects with relevant community collaboration and green infrastructure experience, federal registration and policies, and required insurance; applicants must also attend a technical assistance session and participate in evaluation and learning activities. Expressions of Interest are due September 30, 2026, through the Foundation’s online portal.
