About this program

Concern Foundation for Cancer Research offers the Conquer Cancer Now Award to support innovative, hypothesis-driven research in cancer genetics, cancer biology, and cancer immunology, with awards of $100,000 annually for up to two years. The next application round opens in spring 2027, with Letters of Intent due July 23, 2027. Eligible applicants are independent junior faculty investigators at the Assistant Professor or equivalent level who have led their own research programs for one to seven years, including those at U.S. or international nonprofit institutions; applicants at government or for-profit institutions are ineligible. Clinical trials, epidemiology, behavioral studies, and applicants holding an existing R01 or equivalent award are excluded, and funds may support only research salaries and direct supplies or services, not indirect costs, equipment, travel, or administrative expenses.
