Conservation, Food & Health Foundation Grants (international project support)

About this program

Conservation, Food & Health Foundation provides one- and two‑year grants (most commonly $25,000–$50,000 per year) to fund applied research, pilot projects, training, and technical assistance that protect the environment, improve food production, and promote public health across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the Middle East, with priority for seed funding that builds local leadership, enables replication and systems change, and influences policy. Eligible applicants are NGOs, nonprofit and community-based organizations, civil society groups, colleges/universities and other academic institutions based in those regions, as well as organizations in upper‑income countries partnering with local groups; government agencies and religious organizations may participate as partners but are not direct recipients. The Foundation excludes projects in post‑Soviet and Balkan states and typically will not fund general operating support, direct humanitarian aid, capital improvements, certain salaries, or pre‑award expenses; awards are made twice yearly (deadlines posted on the Foundation website) and require interim and final narrative and financial reports, with an interim work plan and financial report required before second‑year funding.
