CooperVision Science & Technology Award (Seedling Award)

About this program

CooperVision’s Science & Technology Award supports innovative myopia-control research, prioritizing proposals on novel technologies, predictive biomarkers, mechanisms of onset/progression, structural and optical treatment effects (including in children <7 years), and factors influencing therapy selection. The Seedling Award funds one-year collaborative projects with CooperVision, providing up to $100,000 in total support. Eligible applicants are principal investigators holding an MD, OD, or PhD; postdoctoral applicants must provide documentation for a PI-status waiver before funding, and animal-model studies are not accepted. Applications are submitted via SurveyMonkey Apply and reviewed on a rolling basis; applicants should omit confidential information because CooperVision will not enter into confidentiality agreements.
