Cosmology Prize Nomination (2027)

About this program

The Gruber Foundation at Yale solicits annual nominations for the Cosmology Prize to honor individuals whose work has produced fundamental advances in understanding the structure and evolution of the universe. Nominations may be submitted by professionals in astronomy, cosmology, mathematics, or the philosophy of science (or individuals active in or appreciative of contemporary cosmological research); self-nominations are not permitted and nominees must be individual researchers with demonstrable foundational contributions. Required materials, submitted in English via the official online form or by email to nominations@gruber.yale.edu, are a completed nomination form, a current CV without a full publication list, and a letter of support from someone outside the nominee’s institution (not the nominator); deadline December 15, 2026.
