Creche Childhood Education Fund

About this program

Omaha Community Foundation administers the Creche Childhood Education Fund, an endowment from the historic Creche Home for Children that provides grants for educational programming and projects serving underserved children up to age 12 in the Omaha metropolitan area. Up to three grants totaling approximately $25,000 are awarded annually (application period June 1–July 15, awards announced in September); grant funds may not be used for operating expenses, and organizations may apply each year but may receive funding only once every three years. Eligible applicants are public 501(c)(3) organizations located in Douglas, Sarpy, or Pottawattamie Counties whose policies conform to the fund’s non‑discrimination requirements.
