About this program

Connecticut Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (CTAHPERD) offers Mini-Grants, including small Research Grants, to support development and implementation of school and community programs in health, physical education, recreation, and dance. Awards are up to $1,000 per project and are not intended to fully fund extensive research projects. Applicants must be CTAHPERD members for at least one contiguous year, may not be Executive Council members, must not have received a CTAHPERD grant in the previous year, and need supervisor approval (signature) on the application. Projects must benefit Connecticut students and/or teachers, supplement or enhance existing school/agency curriculum (research grants focused on curriculum enhancement), serve students of all ability levels and/or teachers, be sustainable, and will be assessed against the stated review criteria.
