Damon Runyon Clinical Investigator Award Continuation Grant

About this program

The Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation offers a two-year, $400,000 Continuation Grant to support Clinical Investigators who need additional time and funding to complete promising cancer research or initiate or continue a clinical trial. Funds may support salary, personnel, equipment, supplies, and other research costs, but not indirect costs or institutional overhead. Eligibility is limited to third-year Damon Runyon Clinical Investigators who have demonstrated strong productivity, insufficient funding for the proposed work, and research potential to improve cancer prevention, diagnosis, or treatment. Applications are due March 15 by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time and must include a five-page proposal, mentor letter, NIH biosketch, bibliography, funding disclosure, budget, and applicable safety and regulatory statements.
