About this program

The Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation’s Damon Runyon-Rachleff Innovation Award Stage 2 provides up to $400,000 for years three and four of research, extending total support to as much as $800,000 over four years. Continued funding is reserved for select Stage 1 Innovators demonstrating significant progress on transformative cancer research through a written update and in-person presentation. All second-year Damon Runyon Stage 1 Innovators are eligible to apply. Applications must include a cover sheet, a two-page research progress statement and proposed plan, NIH-format biosketch, full bibliography, and complete current and pending funding disclosures, submitted by email by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time on September 9.
