Dedalus Foundation Exhibition Catalogue Award

About this program

The Dedalus Foundation's Exhibition Catalogue Award is an annual prize honoring an outstanding exhibition catalogue that makes a significant contribution to the scholarship of modern art or modernism. Nominations are accepted October 15–December 16; the 2026 award is limited to English-language catalogues published in 2025 that document exhibitions and primarily contain new, unpublished material with essays that expand and illuminate understanding of modernism (broadly defined from the early twentieth century to the present). Museums, galleries, and publishers may submit nominations, and publishers whose titles are shortlisted will be contacted in February 2026 to send review copies to the three-member jury.
