The Delaware River Watershed Protection Fund, supported by the William Penn Foundation and administered by the Open Space Institute (OSI), provides grants to conserve land and improve water quality in the Delaware River watershed. The fund offers Transaction and Catalyst Grants to support early-stage conservation efforts and integrate water quality science into planning, with a focus on protecting forested water resources, addressing climate change, and promoting water justice. Eligible applicants are qualified land conservation organizations with projects located within the watershed, featuring at least 90% natural land cover, and meeting stewardship and financial match requirements. Applications for Transaction and Catalyst Grants are considered on a rolling basis, with a deadline of December 1, 2025.
