DF Skin of Color Society Collaborative Mid-career Research Award

The Dermatology Foundation and the Skin of Color Society offer the DF Skin of Color Society Collaborative Mid‑Career Research Award to support outstanding mid‑career investigators with an established trajectory in basic, clinical, or translational dermatology research that advances understanding of dermatologic issues in skin of color; applications are jointly reviewed and the 2027 cycle opens October 2026 with a December 1, 2026 deadline (renewals due January 1, 2027). Funded research must be conducted in the U.S. under the sponsorship of an ACGME‑accredited dermatology department/division, and applicants must meet the Foundation’s general and award‑specific eligibility requirements. Applicants from minority and underserved populations are encouraged to apply, and proposals addressing health issues affecting racial, sexual/gender/LGBTQ, or other disadvantaged groups are welcome.
