Distinguished Applied Practitioner Award

About this program

The AASP Foundation offers the Distinguished Applied Practitioner Award to recognize established sport psychology practitioners who demonstrate excellence and at least 15 years of experience in applied practice. The annual award includes a plaque, $1,000 cash prize, and waived registration for that year’s AASP conference. Nominees must be professional AASP members, have graduated at least 15 years ago, and hold active Certified Mental Performance Consultant® status. AASP members may nominate themselves or others by April 15, submitting a resume/CV and a practice statement, with up to two supporting statements of no more than two single-spaced pages each.
