About this program

The Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) Foundation offers the Distinguished Public Communication, Awareness, and Outreach Award to recognize members who advance awareness of sport and performance psychology through public communication, education, or outreach, including resources or collaborations with related professional organizations. The award includes a plaque, $1,000 cash prize, and waived registration for the year’s AASP Annual Conference. Nominees must be current AASP student or professional members and demonstrate qualifying outreach during the previous calendar year; self-nominations are permitted. Applications require a nomination letter, up to four support letters, and a resume or CV, and are due annually by April 15.
