About this program
Offered by the Society of American Archivists Foundation, the Diversity Award honors individuals, groups, or institutions for outstanding, long‑term contributions to advancing diversity within the archives profession, SAA, or the archival record through activism, education, outreach, publication, service, or other initiatives. Up to two awards are given annually; each includes a certificate and one complimentary registration to that year’s SAA Annual Meeting. Eligibility is open to individuals, groups, and organizations (preference may be given to SAA members); nominations may be submitted by any individual, group, or institution and must include two letters of support, with all nominations due by February 28 each year.
