Division of Environmental Chemistry Graduate Student Research Paper Awards

About this program

The Division of Environmental Chemistry of the American Chemical Society offers annual Graduate Student Research Paper Awards to recognize excellence in research and writing; up to seven awards are granted each year, each including a $1,000 cash prize and a one‑year Division membership, with awards presented at the Fall ACS National Meeting. Only students who present their papers at the Fall meeting receive the cash award. Eligible applicants are graduate students at U.S. or international universities who submit papers formatted to Environmental Science & Technology standards and limited to 7,000 word equivalents (including figures and supplementary/supporting documents, excluding references). Submissions are reviewed by the Division Awards Committee and nominations are accepted during the October 1–December 15 window.
