Donaghue R3 — Making Research Relevant & Ready (R3) Grant Program

About this program

Donaghue Foundation’s R3 — Making Research Relevant & Ready program provides $50,000 awards (plus 10% indirect) for up to 18 months to help researchers prepare health interventions for real-world adoption by accessing expertise in scaling, spread, and implementation; the Foundation plans to fund four R3 awards in 2021. Letters of intent may be submitted any time; Donaghue will notify LOI decisions within two weeks, invited full applications are due within six weeks of invitation, and award decisions are made within six weeks of application. Eligibility is limited to current and past Donaghue grantees who must demonstrate that prior Donaghue funding directly led to the intervention or evidence-based practice proposed; R3 funds may be used to augment other project funding. Extensions to the grant term are considered only in extraordinary circumstances.
