Donors Choose Teacher Mini Grants

About this program

The Coastal Community Foundation of South Carolina offers mini grants through DonorsChoose.org to support teacher-initiated classroom projects that promote innovative educational approaches. Grants are available for teachers in specific South Carolina counties, including all teachers in Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Colleton, Dorchester, Georgetown, Hampton, Horry, and Jasper counties, and only high school teachers in Allendale and Barnwell counties. Interested teachers must submit a proposal on DonorsChoose.org by August 1, with a committee of community members reviewing and recommending grant recipients. Proposals will be considered throughout the year until funds are expended if there are insufficient eligible applications initially.
