Dr. Richard A. Rodriguez Division 44 Student Travel Award

Sponsored by the Committee on Racial and Ethnic Diversity of APA Division 44, the Dr. Richard A. Rodriguez Division 44 Student Travel Award supports LGBTQ+ students of color attending the American Psychological Association Annual Convention by providing two $1,500 travel awards. Applicants must be graduate students who self-identify as LGBTQ+ people of color, demonstrate commitment to LGBTQ+ and ethnic minority issues, plan to attend the convention, and remain enrolled at the time of the event. Applications require a 500–800-word personal statement, curriculum vitae, and faculty recommendation letter; submissions are due March 31, 2027.
